Abstract
This study analyzes influential factors affecting mobility of wage workers with disabilities into good jobs. The research utilizes the data of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED) from 2008 to 2013, which is analyzed by ¡®panel logit random effects model¡¯. The results of this study show only 11.5% of wage workers with disabilities transfers from bad jobs to good jobs, which implies the difficulty of wage workers with disabilities to move into good jobs. The influential factors affecting mobility into good jobs are sex as an individual factor, a certificate of qualification as a human capital factor, and job turnover, benefit package, type of occupation, and volume of enterprise as job factors. These results suggest that promoting the opportunities for mobility into good jobs includes an increase in subsidies to provide certificate-related on-the-job training, and various supportive employment strategies such as out-placement services. The strategies need to be established carefully considering type of occupation and volume of enterprise that affect in the different direction from anticipation.
